Chicken Runner ("we", "us", "the game") is a free browser arcade game available at chickenrunner.vercel.app. This policy explains what information the game handles and what your choices are. The short version: we don't want your data — we just want you to dodge the fire.

We do not ask for, collect, or store any personal information. The game has no accounts, no sign-up, no forms, and no chat. You can play the whole game without telling us anything about yourself.

2. Game progress stored on your device

Your progress — best run, total pads hopped, perfect crossings, unlocked levels and skins — is saved with your browser's localStorage technology. This data never leaves your device: it is not sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently.

3. Cookies

The game itself does not set tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts on this site.

4. Third-party services

The site relies on two technical providers:

• Vercel (hosting). Like any web host, Vercel may process your IP address and basic request data in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts (typefaces). Your browser downloads the game's fonts from Google's servers, which involves your IP address being processed by Google. See the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising

Links to this site may appear in online advertising (for example, Google Ads). Ad platforms may use their own cookies on the pages where the ads are shown — that is governed by those platforms' policies, not ours. This site itself does not run ads and does not track ad clicks beyond standard server logs.

6. Children

The game is a family-friendly cartoon arcade. It involves no real money, no purchases and no prizes, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, children included.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the game handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
